MIPIM, in partnership with  Hubstart Paris®, the alliance to market Greater Roissy and to welcome international investors, are pleased to invite you to attend a conference on:

“Airport areas as an economic and real-estate engine”

Wednesday March 13th

from 5:30 to 6:30 pm

Palais des Festivals, Level 3, Hoban Room

The growth of airport areas around major airports has become a worldwide phenomenon: as a result of the globalisation of the economy and of increased mobility in production factors, airport areas contribute in a crucial way to economic growth in the 21st century. By becoming key localities for international mobility and by providing businesses with an opportunity to improve their production efficiency, airports and their surrounding areas (within a 15- to 20-kilometre radius) enjoy increased appeal and offer up new venues for urban and real-estate development.

•Direct and indirect impacts of airport areas on local and regional growth (employment, competitiveness, attractiveness, environment, social)

•Role of the public and private sectors

•Connectivity and accessibility of the city and region: integration in the multimodal transport system (public transport, road, railway, high speed-railway...)

•Profusion of real-estate projects on airport areas

•Territorial marketing and strategies to promote airport areas and cities
